What does breaking the sound barrier have to do with distorting/the diffraction of light? Is it just a ton of energy in the form of a wave, making it more difficult for the light to pass through?

I am trying to find something in this whole vast universe that is either living or non-living that has linear motion, circular motion, periodic motion, projectile motion, and rotational motion. This thing doesn’t have to be living (example:airplane) and can be found in anywhere in the universe (example: Mars). Please be detailed as possible about how that object has all the motions. You can list more than one. This object can be inside another object or on the exterior of an object.

In a question, a pebble and a feather both have the same mass (and so the same weight), but the feather reaches terminal velocity quicker than the pebble. How would you explain that using Newton’s Laws?
