I have had the iud since 9/2003 I lost my period shortly after i got it. I had some sparadic periods maybe 2 or 3 times a year but thats all now I have had my period steady for the last 3 months as it was before i had my iud put in. Is it possible that with 1 yr left on my iu the hormones have worn off. I dont want to get pregnant please give me some advice do i need to replace it or am I good till the end of the ;ast year

Hepatitis and blood question please?
Hello, I found that I have Hep. B chronic. also exams result as: X-Ray (Pulmonory venous pressure and/or lung disease), CT (mosaic attenuation pattern) other CT (mosaic perfusion), Ultrasound (enlarged liver), blood hep. B and H. Pylori, Stress test (normal), EKG (normal)
Now: another blood test - alt 85 and ast 48 (what is that means in this situation?
My symptoms: upper abdominal chest pain (severe) with swollen on my lef side under the rib cage. Chest and back pain radiating toward lower back with some symptoms of cramp. Deep mid chest towards left pain and lack of breath (breating seems to be normal but with difficult) and tiredness.

DO YOU THING I HAVE ANY SERIOUS CONCERN LIKE: Cirrhosis, hepatocellular carcinoma, cancer. Please give me your opnion and knowledge. appreciate if you do not send me website. I just need your knowledge and opinion - thank you very much

I need to get a comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP) blood test done. it is a general well being test and basically includes a bunch of tests for
Glucose,
Calcium,
Proteins ( albumin and total protein)
Electrolytes (Sodium,Potassium, CO2, Chloride )
Kidney test ( BUN, Creatinine)
Liver Tests ( ALP, ALT,AST,Bilirubin)

my work place requires it as part of the yearly physical exam however my PCP does not agree.

[do any of you'll think that my PCP should not have a problem with prescribing it? coz i dont know what the big deal is...it is routinely ordered as part of a blood work-up for a medical exam or yearly physical exam...plus it sux that my insurance wont cover it then ]

anyways i was thinking of ordering it though www.privatemdlabs.com

My daughter is 7 Took her to the dotor the other day to see what was wrong with her b/c she has just been oddly sick and her hair has been falling out. They did a complete workup Here are the results …..

Everything was within range excpet Her liver test were off..
