Root directory: DCIM (and sometimes MISC)
Inside DCIM: 100xxxxx (Five letter word like NIKON, CANON, PENTX, CASIO….)
What is the “Misc” folder for?
What does “DCIM” stand for?
Why exactly five digits after “100″?
Who set this standard for all digital cameras?

I own a Casio QV-R61. Images taken outdoor have black horizontal lines appearing in them. Also when the object is bright, the whole picture appears white. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

mine is blue though, but thats what it looks like
for some reason it just wont play anymore. i put new batteries in it and it doesnt work. and i know it could just do w/ the fact that it’s so old and no one has used it for years, but i desperately want to find a way to fix it so it works again. if anyone knows how to open it and fix it or replace parts to fix it or anything on how to get this thing working again please let me know! it would help me a whole lot!!
