i know the new one is nvidia and probably better but what i’m trying to figure out is is it worth while to install it and also will it be good enought to use for COMMAND AND CONQUER 3 at the highest res …also i paid $50 for the new one is that a good price?

New videocard for msi PM8PM-V?

I believe my 7600gs has an overheating problem or just took a crap on me. Im looking to get the best videocard with my motherboard. I’m slowly building a new computer. I would like to keep it nivida. I think my slot is agp8x. I’ve looked at some but dont appear to be the same slot.

eMachines T3958 mobo: What can I use?

Hi folks! Moose here, and I have a weird and potentially stooopid question….

I have an eMachines T3958 that’s about 5 years old. There isn’t currently anything wrong with it, but I’m interested in changing the mobo because of alot of forum chatter about it being a really sucky mobo. It has a Celeron D 340 Socket 478 CPU, and at some point in time the previous owner changed the mobo to a Gateway 2000!!! I have no idea why, and it bugs me. ALOT! So I thought I’d attempt my first mobo change, and use an aftermarket mobo from Asus,MSI, or maybe even just a newer Intel.

But which one?

I’d like to keep using the DDR PC2700 Crucial RAM I just bought before Christmas, but all newegg has is a board that needs DDR2!

Any help would be greatly appreciated! THANK YOU!!!
