I have a Emachines T5086 that the built in sound card just went out on, would like to upgrade to a better quality internal sound card for my guitarist husband. I need to know how to bypass the existing built in sound card and install my own upgraded internal one, and what is a good bet for a quality sound card compatible with my machine? Also I am running Vista, so I will need something with compatible drivers.

First, it did not have paper when asked to print so paper was put in- that did not work. The computer and printer were turned off and the printer unplugged for five minates - that did not work. The ports and whatever are programed correctly. Do you know how to get it back running again and please do not tell me to call Dell on Call.

A day ago I formatted my c drive and installed windows xp home edition all over again everything seems to work fine but I notice that everytime I scroll down or grab a window and move it sideways it moves almost in SLOW MOTION! It is not detecting my video card either and I dont know how to find out which one is installed can anyone help?

What is harder? I heard the treadmill is worse on the knees? My treadmill has a slight incline to it and a rugged belt. I have to spend 10 min on it to warm up the belt.

ibm thinkpad x40 running windows xp pro. no ibm power manager. uninstalled and decided to stick with the standard windows xp power manager. the ibm pwrmgr didn’t work correctly.
