Could anyone tell me how to restore the hard drive back to the factory settings? I lost all the paper-works and CDs that came with the package when I was moving. Now I’ve messed up some softwares. Please help me. The laptop is Toshiba Laptop A305-S6872. Thank you very much.

my laptop is Toshiba m-45. when the Fn button turns on it gives me a strange functions like, the letter on the keyboard don’t work ,or i type letters to get numbers instead.

why is it doing that? i have to go back and clear it out and write it again. what can i do to make it stop? its very annoying. i havent spilled anything on it. its been this way since i bought it in july. help

I need to use my TOSHIBA Satellite A40 laptop for extensive academic and other works (like movie, music, internet). I use it like desktop - always from line power, no mobility and it is turned on almost 12 hrs everyday. Is that OK? I am worried if I am over-using it– keeping it on long hours and doing so many things. Is it true that unlike desktop which is more rugged I should use my laptop more ’softly’, more carefully,…. Should I use less hours per day? Do you have any tips or adivice for me who needs to use computers about 8-10 hours a day.

I lent my laptop to my ex, now it is requiring a password on start up for the bios. I have no idea how to unlock it and he says he forgot the password. I don’t know what to do with it and I need a working laptop for school so I thought that if I sold it maybe I could put the money toward another one. Anyone know how much it would be worth? That is the only thing wrong with it.
