How would I solve this short velocity problem?
Monday, September 28th, 2009what is the average velocity for this question?
Friday, September 25th, 2009A bug starts out at rest, 4 m to the right of the origin. It then starts moving on a trip. After 3 s, the bug is seen at 10 m to the right of the origin, travelling at 6 m/s to the right. After 6 s (from the start of the trip), the bug is seen at 2 m to the left of the origin, travelling at 8 m/s to the right.
Q: What is the average velocity of the bug for the entire trip?

acceleration is related to velocity and time physics question?
Friday, August 7th, 2009what is the relationship between the concepts of velocity and acceleration?
Monday, August 3rd, 2009Need help with position and velocity in calculus?
Monday, August 3rd, 2009Ok so the problem is
At time t a particle moving along the x-axis is at position x. The relationship between x and t is given by: tx = x^2 + 8. At x = 2 the velocity of the particle is ?
I am really confused with this problem. It gives me a lot of variables that I don’t know what to do with. Thank you for your help!

I have questions about acceleration and velocity?
Wednesday, June 24th, 2009How can I solve problems like this?
A car accelerates from rest at -3.00 m/s2.
a. What is the velocity at the end of 5.0 s?
b. What is the displacement after 5.0 s?
How can I work this kind of problem? What do I need to remember for solving problems that inlcudes acceleration and velocity? If any1 help, help will be really appreciated.

Is change is speed same as change in velocity?
Friday, June 5th, 2009Is change in speed same as change in velocity?
There’s a question regarding a rebounding ball and the question wants in change in speed and change in velocity before/after rebound.
I know ∆v = v(final) - v(initial)
How bout change in speed? (we’re given 2 values in m/s)
